There are different types of beads for jewelry making available in the market._


1. Pearl beads: Pearls are a kind of beads for jewelry making. A pearl is a material produced within the soft tissue called the mantle of a living shelled mollusk. It is mainly composed of carbonate in minute crystalline form. A pearl is round in shape and smooth in surface. Very elegant in beauty it also occurs as baroque pearls. Its beauty is remarked as such that anything rare, valuable and exclusive can be compared to a pearl. Finest quality natural pearls have been highly valued as gemstones. Similar to a naturally formed pearl, Imitation pearls are man-made objects (often beads) that are designed to resemble real pearls. They are of various shapes and texture. There are assorted techniques of creating imitation pearls. The materials used are glass, plastic and actual mollusk shell. Sometimes the beads are coated with a pearlescent substance so that Imitation pearls can be an exact copy of its original kind.



2. Glass bead: Glass beads are extremely popular in beads for jewelry making. The popular kind is the wound glass beads. They are the oldest type and have a deep heritage. Pressed or molded seed beads are fabricated from the Czech Republic. Di chronic glass beads are the high-tech type. The lead crystal type is machine cut and polished. They have a high content of lead in them making it more fragile and delicate.

3. Pandora beads: Pandora is an international Danish jewelry manufacturer who has been in the jewelry industry since 1982. Pandora A/S often styled PANDORA designs its own beads formerly called Pandora beads. They are very stylish and colorful. Their product run across 80 countries on 6 continents and has an approximate 10,000 point of sale worldwide. The Pandora beads for jewelry making are very popular and have an extreme market demand.



4. Shamballa beads: Shamballa beads are based on an ancient Hindu culture that was ruled by the mighty Kalki Kings, or Kings of Shamballa. The designs have a rich heritage and are very intricate.

5. Swarovski Beads: Swarovski AG is an Austrian producer of luxury cut lead glass. Its headquarters is in Wattens, Austria. The company is split into two major industry areas. The first part, the Swarovski Kristall business unit looks after the luxury items and fashion design crystals. The second unit is the the Tyrolit business unit. It manufactures bonded abrasives as well as concrete sawing and drilling machinery.
