Here's a easy tutorial to teach you how to make a gorgeous rose with beads, which can last a long time- or even forever. You can choose the small fancy glass beads of classic red colors and faceted shape. Though, it's two months left until the Valentine's Day, you can practice it or make it as Christmas gift! 
Supplies: 
4mm red round glass beads
3mm green seed beads
0.3mm golden copper wire
Wire cutting pliers
Flat pliers
How? 
1, Rose petals: Prepare 40cm copper wire, thread 1-6-8-10-12-14 beads on wires. String 7 red beads to the petal edge. Repeat to do another 4 petals. 
2, Rose leaves: do the same with above pattern. Beads pattern: 1-2-3-4-3-2
3, Wrap the rose petals and leaves into a beaded rose.
